Service Employees International Union Endorses Suzette Cavadas, Clifton People, Jr. for Union Township Committee
Newark, N.J.— Today, 32BJ of the Service Employees International Union, which represents 13,000 workers in New Jersey—including commercial office and school cleaners, security officers, airport workers, and school food servers—announced its endorsements of Suzette Cavadas and Clifton People, Jr. for reelection to the Union Township Committee.
“Cavadas and People have stood with us over the years and listened to the issues and needs of 32BJ members who live in the Township of Union. These candidates have shown their commitment to ensuring that working people have access to affordable housing, good jobs and fair wages. They are clear advocates for immigrants and working families who need strong representation at the local level. As we prepare to go back to the bargaining table this year for hundreds of union members living in Union Township, we know we can count on Cavadas and People to stand in solidarity with building service workers who believed in them.”

With nearly 175,000 members in 11 states and Washington, D.C., including 13,000 in New Jersey, 32BJ SEIU is the largest property service workers union in the country.
Cute all these people who have been paying off these two centrists for years getting really scared two upstarts with progressive liberal leanings are going to kill their money train of payoffs.
Notice all the groups supporting Cryans people, Developers, corporate interests, list goes on.
REAL Democrats vote for change, and vote out Cavadas who was too racist to even show up to the NAACP debate, and vote out Peoples who is on record for not even wanting to run but was persuaded to because Cryan knows his numbers up.
I also find it very telling InsiderNJ has yet to post any stories about the fliers these two put out from Cryans office full of lies. or the fact they have been using Cryans sister in Unions city hall to illegally run interference against any opposition groups for years now. Or that the “committees” to re-elect these two are not even in Union but in Westfield and Watchung. Or that Joe Cryan himself was seen removing opposition mailers off of peoples houses and throwing them in the trash. When is InsiderNj going to get some balls to look at the real villains in this election. Peoples, Cavadas, and Cryan.
