ABC-New Jersey Welcomes Two New Members to the Leadership Team

Associated Builders and Contractors, New Jersey Chapter (ABC-NJ) announced that Nancy J. Fleisch and Michael Wright will be joining the leadership of their workforce and apprenticeship programs. Fleisch will serve as the Chapter’s new Apprenticeship Coordinator, and Wright will serve as the Director of Workforce Development and Apprenticeship Education. 

Fleisch has over a decade of experience in the oversite, management, and requirements of registered apprenticeship in the construction industry.  She is an NCCER Certified Master Trainer and has developed a keen awareness of the needs of both instructors and students who participate in the education of craft professionals.  This knowledge and experience have generated a passion for bringing the best possible education to the participants of registered apprenticeship and a dedication to their success. 

I look forward to working with the talented individuals who are currently part of the ABC NJ apprenticeship programs,” Fleisch said.  I will do all I can to ensure that they have the tools they need to be successful in todays construction industry, and to develop programming that the meets the employer-driven needs of tomorrow.”

Wright is an experienced sales and marketing professional with a background in education. He is a New Jersey native who graduated from Rowan University with a B.A. in History and Secondary Education, with a concentration in International Studies. He began his career as a teacher in the United Kingdom, and later returned to Southern New Jersey, transitioning to sales and sales training in the private sector and serving as a board member for various area organizations in education. 

“I am truly excited at this opportunity,” said Wright.  “The services provided by ABC of New Jersey are extremely important to developing a construction workforce that is knowledgeable, hard-working, and dedicated to safety and quality.”

“Both Nancy and Michael will be great assets to our team, our workforce, and our apprenticeship program,” said ABC NJ President Samantha DeAlmeida. “After all, apprenticeships are a key part of the practical education our contractor members provide to their employees, thereby ensuring that the industry is continually adapting, innovating and ready to work.  Their experience and passion are a testament to the positive contributions they will make to our chapter as we continue to grow our membership base and strengthen our voice in Trenton,”
