Running for chairman of the Bergen County GOP Committee, Fernando Alonso today said sitting Chairman Paul DiGaetano needs to resign immediately for the good of the party.

“He needs to step down,’ Alonso told InsiderNJ. “He needs to step down now so the party can take steps to put us in the best position in June.”

Alonso said the organization needs to convene an emergency meeting to supplant DiGaetano.
