Amador Wins Reelection in the Ironbound; Defeats Campos
East Ward Councilman Augusto Amador tonight turned back a challenge by former Police Director Anthony Campos in Newark.
Ironbounders cast more than 3,400 votes.
He beat Campos by 54 votes with one machine down, which is in the incumbent’s district.
Ultimately, Amador won unofficially by 108 votes.
