The budget bill was passed by the Assembly just after 12:15 am.

Assemblyman Schaer, the Budget Chairman and prime sponsor, moved the bill.

Prieto said, as per business as usual, “Madam Clerk, please open the machine for a vote. All recorded who wish to be recorded?  Madam Clerk, please close the machine.”

It passed 55-21-1, mostly along party lines: LD1 Dems Land and Andrzejczak voted no, and LD12 Republican Dancer abstained.
