As per Harry Hurley last night, the Atlantic City Democrats endorsed CD2 primary candidate Amy Kennedy for the Democratic nomination to face GOP Rep. Van Drew.

Kennedy, who launched her campaign weeks ago, is vying for the nomination against Montclair Professor Brigid Harrison, AC Freeholder Ashley Bennett, Republican-turned-Democrat Robert Turkavage, and Will Cunningham.

Atlantic County’s party leadership hasn’t endorsed anyone yet, while the rest of the South Jersey county chairs, as well as Senate President Sweeney, are backing Harrison.
