Atlantic County Freeholder-At-Large Caren Fitzpatrick announced today that she is officially endorsing Amy Kennedy to be the Democratic nominee to run for newly-minted Republican Jeff Van Drew’s House seat in New Jersey’s Second Congressional District.

“Amy will bring real life experience, homegrown in Atlantic County, to her congressional office,” says Freeholder Fitzpatrick. “I look forward to working with her to improve the lives of Atlantic County residents.”

Kennedy last month won the backing of the Atlantic County Democrats at their convention.
