Atlantic County Reports 17 New COVID-19 Cases on Wednesday Morning

Atlantic County

As of this morning, April 8, 17 more Atlantic County residents have tested positive for COVID-19, according to county public health officials, bringing the countywide total to 173 cases. No additional deaths were reported today.

Today’s confirmations include seven men, ages 31-86 and 10 women, ages 29-82.

On Tuesday, Aril 7th, the county had reported 16 new COVID-19 cases and 3 fatalities.

According to the NJDOH, the statewide COVID-19 count as of Wednesday, April 8th is 47,437 cases and 1,504 fatalities, an increase of 3,088 cases and 275 fatalities from Tuesday.
