Anthony Attanasio, executive director of the Utility and Transportation Contractors Association (UTCA), has accepted an employment offer from AECOM, InsiderNJ has learned.

Attanasio will continue to fulfill his duties at UTCA until March 29, 2018.

“During his four years of service to UTCA and the Board, Anthony has done an excellent job in representing the association and accomplished many goals and objectives of great importance for the industry,” said Tom Hardell, President of George Harris Construction. “We will deeply miss Anthony, however, he will continue to work directly with UTCA as AECOM’s representative to the association.  We most certainly wish Anthony well in all endeavors at AECOM.”

According to one insider, “Anthony started out as one of the best campaign operatives Republicans had. Now he has transformed himself into one of the best nonpartisan transportation issue advocates in New Jersey.”
