Mayor Ras J. Baraka will join President Barack Obama, #BlackLivesMatter Co-Founder Alicia Garza and other community leaders for “A Conversation With President Obama,” part of the MBK Leadership Forum. The conversation will be held on Wednesday, May 26, at 3:30 p.m. Tune in on Obama.org or the Obama Foundation YouTube channel.

This virtual gathering of leading My Brother’s Keeper Communities from across the nation will discuss the unprecedented activism and action that has taken place in the year since George Floyd’s tragic murder, and the importance of reimagining policing and public safety in the work ahead.

This conversation is a part of a two-day MBK Leadership Forum designed to share best practices, celebrate momentum, and continue to center racial equity as a core drive to meet My Brother’s Keeper Community goals.
