As first noted by InsiderNJ and confirmed here by Save Jersey, former Hackensack Mayor Jack Zisa is running for the chairmanship of the Bergen County Republican Organization (BCRO).

“We are moving forward,” Zisa said this morning.

His main adversary for the job appears to be attorney Fernando Alonso.

As for sitting BCRO Chairman Paul DiGaetano, “Paul has not indicated what he is doing I have every reason to believe he’s not seeking reelection,” Zisa said.
