“I have a proven track record of working with elected officials, power brokers and leading policy advocates to improve the lives of New Jersey residents. For nearly two decades, I have worked with non-profit, grassroots organizations to develop and win organizing and advocacy campaigns on progressive issues, ranging from public financing of state elections and a ‘Millionaire’s Tax’ to the preservation of the state’s 30 year commitment to providing housing opportunities for every resident in every community. I have worked as a senior manager, to helping to shape a vision of the future of an organization, and then, was responsible for overseeing the implementation of that broad view in the day-to-day work necessary to achieve those goals. Through these efforts, I have honed my ability to communicate big, bold ideas to wide and diverse audiences, using time-honored outreach and education tactics, as well as emerging media tools. I have also had the opportunity to craft and serve in new leadership positions that became necessary as organizational needs changed.
