Matt Bonasia, the executive director of the Bergen Democrats, who enjoyed a run of great success in that position, is leaving to go to work for the new assembly people in the 38th District: Lisa Swain and Chris Tully.

Sources told InsiderNJ that Bonasia will serve as the new lawmakers’ chief of staff.

A respected veteran, Bonasia cut his campaigns and elections teeth with Assembly Dems’ overlord Mike Muller.
