WASHINGTON, DC— U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) announced today new leadership changes in his Senate office. Tricia Russell will be Booker’s Chief of Staff, Nicole Morse will be his Deputy Chief of Staff for Administration, Kristin Lynch will be his Communications Director, and Jane Wiesenberg will be his Director of Scheduling, effective immediately.

Russell comes to Booker’s office from the Office of Congressman Josh Gottheimer (D-5), where she served as Chief of Staff. Prior to that, she worked for Congressman Steve Israel (NY-3) for a decade holding a number of leadership positions, handling his work on the House Appropriations Committee, and serving as Chief of Staff from 2013 to 2016. Tricia was Israel’s Chief of Staff during his tenure in House Democratic Leadership as Chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and as Chairman of the Democratic Policy and Communications Committee in the House, which she helped launch in 2015.

Russell is well-known on Capitol Hill and in 2015 she was named one of the 20 Most Powerful Women Staffers by National Journal. She holds a B.A. from Syracuse University and an executive education certificate from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Morse began her Senate career in 2003 and has previously worked for Senators Alexander, Lieberman, Dodd, and Levin.  She has been Senator Booker’s Administrative Director since he arrived in the Senate in 2013.  Nicole is originally from Memphis, Tennessee and received her B.A. in Journalism from The University of Memphis.  She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and daughter.
