Booker Celebrates Bill Pascrell in Chicago

U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) took the stage on day three of the Democratic National Convention to introduce champions of reproductive freedom.

First, though, he paid tribute to the late U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-9).

“He never forgot where he came from in Paterson,” said Booker. “He fought for the people. While we’re heartbroken we are a people who can hold joy in our hearts.”

Booker later made his second appearance onstage, introducing the parents of an Israel-American hostage held in Gaza.
