BPU Adds Top Talent with Mooij

Sources say Kelly Mooij, New Jersey Audubon Vice President for Government Relations, has been tapped to play an important role in the Murphy Administration as Deputy Director of the BPU’s Division of Clean Energy. Under President Joe Fiordaliso’s leadership, the Board of Public Utilities has emerged as a focal point to enact the Governor’s clean energy agenda.

Mooij’s  experience and environmental bona fides would add even more fire power to the BPU’s senior leadership team that already includes Chief of Staff Grace Strom Power, Chief Counsel Noreen Giblin, and Clean Energy Division Director Sara Bluhm Gibson as it ramps up to unveil and implement the 2019 Energy Master Plan and execute the ambitious goals of the 2018 Clean Energy Act. Originally nominated by Governor Murphy to serve on the Pinelands Commission, Mooij is set to succeed in this new, hands on role.
