Bramnick Presents a Winning Argument to Republicans

The New Jersey State Building and Construction Trades Council announced their endorsement of Jon Bramnick and Nancy Munoz for Assembly in Legislative District 21 in the November 5th election.

Running for governor in the 2025 Republican Primary, state Senator Jon Bramnick went to Mercer County last night armed with a new argument for his statewide candidacy.

It amounts to this: he has a winning record.

“I’m 25 and 0 in my last 25 elections,” Bramnick told the Republican audience.

His rivals in the developing Republican contest can’t make even close to the same claim. Former Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli lost a Republican Primary and a General Election in his pursuit of the governorship. Radio personality Bill Spadea lost contests for congress in a showdown with then-U.S. Rep. Rush Holt, and failed in a bid to nab a 23rd District Assembly seat. Truck driver Ed Durr defeated Senate President Steve Sweeney then lost his reelection bid to state Senator John Burzichelli.

Against the backdrop of Republicans’ messaging complicated by Donald Trump at the top of the Republican ticket this year, Bramnick wants people to remember a simple fact about his candidacy.

He wins.
