The Burlington County Times editorial board endorsed GOP Senate candidate Bob Hugin this morning, saying ‘we cannot, in good conscience, support Bob Menendez, regardless of whatever good he has accomplished in his 12 years of service’ and that the incumbent ’embarrassed himself and brought disgrace to his office’.  

The editorial board, praising Hugin’s positions on tax reform, marriage equality, and pro-choice stance on abortion, cautioned that ‘our expectations are low’ are low for Hugin, ending their endorsement with a caveat: ‘then again, we may regret this leap of faith’.
