(Gloucester Township, NJ) –The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 10 new deaths caused by novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Camden County, as well as 127 additional confirmed cases of the disease. This brings the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases to 1,383 in Camden County today and 39 total fatalities.

“Today, we learned of 10 Camden County residents who tragically lost their battle with COVID-19. At this time, we are sending our sincerest condolences to their families and friends, and we continue to send our thoughts and prayers to everyone who has lost a loved one because of the destruction wrought by the novel coronavirus,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “While the raw total of new cases today looks like that of days past, the doubling rate of cases in Camden County continues to improve, signally a positive trend in this fight and the success of mitigation measures such as social distancing. We have not yet won this war, but the victories we have earned to this point are due in no small part to the people of Camden County and their commitment to saving lives by staying home. If we all work together, we will continue to flatten the curve and end this unprecedented crisis.”

The Department of Health is also announcing 127 additional positive cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) identified in Camden County. Trace investigations are being facilitated with the patients and remain ongoing.
