(Gloucester Township, NJ) –The Camden County Department of Health is announcing two new deaths caused by novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Camden County, as well as 59 additional confirmed cases of the disease.

The Department of Health is also announcing 59 additional positive cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) identified in Camden County. Trace investigations are being facilitated with the patients and remain ongoing.

This brings the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases to 409 in Camden County today and 10 total fatalities.

The following information is currently available regarding these most recent deaths in Camden County:

Case 1: Female, 90s, Cherry Hill

Case 2: Male, 60s, Gloucester Township

“I am, again, saddened to announce that we have lost two more victims to this deadly virus. We mourn for the families and will keep them in our thoughts and prayers during this painful time of loss,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “I want to thank the Governor for lowering the flags to half-staff to remember the victims of this insidious virus – we will not forget the memories of those who have passed during this pandemic. Nevertheless, this is a fight that we will never give up, we will continue to make our personal sacrifices united in solidarity that our efforts will break the back of this destructive, silent, invisible force. Furthermore, our community is stronger than the virus and we will flatten the curve by following the guidance provided by the county and state Health Departments.”
