Camden County Reports 96 New COVID-19 Cases on Wednesday
(Gloucester Township, NJ) –The Department of Health is announcing 96 additional confirmed cases of patients with coronavirus (COVID-19) today. This brings the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases to 876 and 23 fatalities in Camden County. Trace investigations are being facilitated with the patients and remain ongoing.
“While we are relieved to have learned of no new deaths in Camden County today, we cannot take our eye off the ball. Especially with springtime holidays and religious events upon us, it is critical that we remind ourselves and others that we must continue to aggressively social distance if we are to flatten the curve and beat this virus,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “We have continued to hear from officials at various levels that this week and next may represent the peak in terms of viral activity in a number of regions throughout the United States, but we must not lose sight of the fact that this assumption relies on our continued adherence to social distancing guidelines and other measures. Together, we can break the back of this virus, but only if we do our part and stay home.”
