CBS: Christie In Consideration For Attorney General

CBS reports that former Governor Christie is in the running to replace former Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Having served as US attorney for NJ prior to being elected Governor in 2009, Christie endorsed President Trump after dropping his own bid for president in 2016.

Christie had a short-lived stint as head of Trump’s transition team, that ‘ultimately bore only marginal influence on personnel and policy in the new administration’, the report says, but ‘since then, though, he has begun to rebuild his relationship with Mr. Trump and senior White House officials’.

  1. He wanted that job from the beginning. I haven’t heard anything lately about him getting laundered money.
