CD-2 Republican candidate Seth Grossman at a debate forum said the time bombs delivered to the opponents of President Donald J. Trump may be the handicraft of Democrats trying to win elections.

“Do we know who it was who sent those packages? Did any of them actually detonate? From what I know: what was the purpose of sending those packages? Was it to actually hurt somebody or influence the election? Who benefits? Look at the motive.”

Boos ensued at the forum.

State Senator Jeff Van Drew (D-1) disagreed.

“It’s just unacceptable,’ said the Democrat. “We all know that in our hearts. That is just totally unacceptable. That’s what we’ve come to.”
