Following his loss on Saturday at the Atlantic County GOP convention, retired FBI special agent Robert “Turk” Turkavage of Brigantine took stock of his candidacy and decided to soldier on through the June Republican Primary.

“I am going to work very hard to secure the nomination,” Turkavage told InsiderNJ.

Running as a moderate emphasizing his diplomatic skills, the candidate carlier this week upset former Assemblyman Sam Fiochhi in Cumberland, then lost his own home county on Saturday to frontrunner Hirsch Singh, who also hails from Atlantic.
