The Bergen attorney was filing at ten minutes to 2 p.m. at the New Jersey Division of Elections to run in the CD5 Republican Primary.

Incumbent U.S. Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-5) and former Bogota Mayor Steve Lonegan have already filed to run.

McCann - vying with Lonegan to go up against Gottheimer in the general - said he's now ready to go.

"I've got my ticket and I'm at the deli counter," the Republican cracked.
