Former State Department Official Tom Malinowski tonight won the support of the Morris County Democratic Party in his bid for the Democratic nomination in CD7.

Malinowski received 34 votes.

Attorney Goutam Jois came in second with 17.

Social worker Peter Jacob received eight votes.

Banker Linda Weber got seven.

Environmentalist Dave Pringle received four.

Malinowski is now the frontrunner for the nomination, with wins in Hunterdon, Warren and Morris, and an edge in the still undecided Union.

Union will make its pick on March 7th.

Weber has Somerset and Essex.
