NEW BRUNSWICK – Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli (R-16) acknowledged that he has not often favored President Donald J. Trump.

But as he competes in a GOP Primary for Governor on the same week that the media celebrated Trump’s first State of the Union Address, Ciatttarelli appeared to gently pivot.

“Donald Trump is talking about issues that Americans care about and that Americans are insecure about,” said the candidate at a breakfast gubernatorial forum sponsored by NAIOP. “Trump keeps it simple in ways that resonate and make sense.”
