CNN’s Chris Cuomo Discusses the Challenges Facing Media Today with Steve Adubato

Steve Adubato goes One-on-One with Chris Cuomo, Anchor of CNN‘s Cuomo Prime Time, to discuss challenges the media faces today, including covering the Trump administration.

Cuomo says he expected to face scrutiny as a journalist, however, not to the degree where the President personally attacks him. He says, “I put myself in the position to be scrutinized. That idea, Steve alone – that I have to, as a journalist, scrupulously adhere to a standard that is above our President, is laughable.”

Cuomo questions whether or not it been worth it to be personally attacked by the Trump administration. He adds, “Anybody who watches my show, I take great pains to be fair on my show. To have his side represented, to have their arguments exposed, test them one way or the other, do so with decency. It is not always easy. This President has been personally mean to me and my family. He retweeted one of his foot soldiers taking a shot at my mother not too long ago. That’s who he is, that’s who he’s always been.”

Steve Adubato and Chris Cuomo continue the conversation to discuss the challenges the media has faced with this specific administration and how it’s different from others.

  1. Who would watch these two losers? Neither would know anything about news or journalism. They only care about spouting their opinions, facts be damned.
