Court Dismisses Mayor Dansereau’s Complaint Against Assemblyman Holley

A court today dismissed a complaint filed by Roselle Mayor Christine Dansereau against Assemblyman Jamel Holley (D-20).

Last fall, Dansereau filed a report with police saying Holley subjected her to abuse and intended to “wear me down and make me leave.”

That story can be found here.

Today, attorney Anthony Anastasio issued a statement on behalf of his client.

“As expected, justice was served with the Court’s dismissal of Mayor Dansereau’s citizen complaint against Assemblyman Holley, who has now been vindicated. After investigating the matter, the Clark Township Municipal Prosecutor properly concluded that there was no basis for the Mayor’s frivolous complaint. Unfortunately, Mayor Dansereau is a struggling politician who has lost the confidence of her own municipal council and wants to blame Assemblyman Holley for her political setbacks.”
