COVID-19: New Jersey Case Count Surpasses 60,000 as of Sunday
According to the NJDOH, the statewide COVID-19 count is 61,850 and 2,350 fatalities as of Sunday, April 12th.
Sunday’s county represents an increase of 3,699 cases and 167 deaths in 24-hours.
7,604 individuals are hospitalized total as of last night, and there have been 658 discharges within the last 24-hours, according to the NJDOH.
On Saturday, Governor Murphy and state officials held their daily briefing, and announced that there were 3,599 more positive tests, bringing the statewide total to 58,151, and additional 251 people had died, bringing the statewide total of deaths to 2,183, as of Saturday. The Governor also announced additional social distancing measures.
