Defeated America First candidate Mike Cripsi this evening told NJ Spotlight News that if he gets started earlier next time, he will beat incumbent U.S. Rep. Chris Smith (R-4).

“We started a campaign from scratch,” Crispi told NJ Spotlight News. “He a million dollars, we had $100K. He got 50 we got 30. If we run against him in two years, he’s done. He’s absolutely done. …His comments showed legitimate fear. We caught a lot of momentum at the end.

“If we get started earlier next time, we’re going to win,” Crispi added.
