So right now at the Democratic National Committee’s winter meeting in Atlanta it appears to be down to Rep. Keith Ellison from Minnesota and former Labor Secretary Tom Perez in the race to succeed Debbie Wasserman Schultz as chair of the party.

Democratic State Party Chairman John Currie is openly backing Perez, and this morning co-chaired a breakfast for the candidate.
