Veteran Democratic Party operative Alicia D’Alessandro is leaving the office of Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco for a gig in the office of Secretary of State Tahesha Way.

“After more than four years working for Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco, Friday will be my last day at One Bergen County Plaza,” the Tedesco Communications Director wrote on her Facebook page.

“It has been an honor to serve the people of Bergen County (including many of my aunts, uncles, and cousins) on behalf of one of the finest public servants I’ve ever known,” she added.

D’Alessandro worked for the Democratic State Committee under the leadership of John Wisniewski prior to going to work for Tedesco.
