DeAngelo to Vote Aye on the 2018 State Budget

DeAngelo

TRENTON – Assemblyman Wayne DeAngelo (D-14), who yesterday abstained on the state budget vote, said today that he plans to vote yes on a vote in an effort to prevent a state government shutdown.

“Today is a new day,” DeAngelo told InsiderNJ.

A source close to Democratic negotiations added that DeAngelo’s slate mate, Assemblyman Dan Benson (D-14), also plans to change his abstention to a yes vote on the budget.

The pair reside in a public sector heavy district.
