Democrat Gesslein Announces Freeholder Candidacy in Monmouth

Amber Gesslein of Eatontown formally announced her candidacy for Monmouth County Freeholder today.

Gesslein, 30, a lifelong resident of the Jersey Shore, holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Suffolk University in Boston and a Masters Degree from Kean University. The daughter of a retired 50-year IBEW member, Gesslein serves as an administrator for the NJ Laborers Political Action Committee with the NJ Laborers Union of North America.  

“My generation needs to step up to fight for the futures of our children and grandchildren,” said Gesslein. “As Monmouth County Freeholder, I will fight to create green jobs, keep taxes low and support our wonderful community college, Brookdale. I am excited to take this campaign across all fifty-three towns of Monmouth County.”
