Democratic Lawmakers Huddle Up to Consider Marijuana Legalization Fine Points

Democrats planned a takeover of the Statehouse today, with both Senate and Assembly caucusing o n the topic of marijuana legalization.

The two bodies planed to caucus separately, with some crossover expected at some point in the aftermath.

If the Legislature is indeed going to vote on both marijuana legalization and medical marijuana, leadership wants members to discuss concerns.

At this point, some bureaucratic questions remain, including penalties for under 21 offenders and how money is allocated back into the communities.
