Democrats Select Galante to Run for District 4 County Commissioner

Atlantic County Democrats selected Kathleen Galante to run for District 4 County Commissioner, which encompasses Brigantine, Galloway Township, Port Republic, and four precincts in Egg Harbor Township. Galante replaces Jay Shah, who withdrew from the race for personal reasons.
“I’m honored that Democrats in Brigantine, Galloway, Port Republic, and Egg Harbor Township chose me to run for elected office this November,” said Galante. “I am a robust advocate for voting rights, combating the negative effects of climate change, and protecting a woman’s right to choose.”
Galante was a successful small business owner and caterer for over 20 years before retiring. In her spare time, she is a passionate volunteer for preventing food insecurity and sustainable farming. Galante and her partner, Philip Pepe, live in Brigantine.
