DiMaio To Host Moench Fundraiser
Newly elected Assembly Minority Leader John DiMaio will host a fundraiser for Bridgewater Mayor Matthew Moench next Thursday, January 20th. This will be one of the first fundraisers hosted by Assemblyman DiMaio since his ascent to the top Republican post in the General Assembly.
Tickets for the fundraiser at Cafe Emilia in Bridgewater range from $300 to $1000.
“Since coming to the Assembly in 2009, Assemblyman DiMaio has been a dedicated and diligent representative on behalf of our constituents in Bridgewater,” said Mayor Moench. “I am honored and grateful for his willingness to support my reelection efforts and help keep Bridgewater a great place to live. I look forward to seeing everyone there.”
Also serving as special guest is Senator Tom Kean, Jr. The former Senator is running for the Republican nomination to challenge Congressman Tom Malinowski in New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District.
“Tom Kean is a proven leader and producer for the people of Bridgewater and the entire State,” said Mayor Moench. “We need people like Tom in Congress now more than ever and I am excited to have him share his vision with my supporters.”
Somerset County Republican Chairman Tim Howes will also serve to headline the event.
Mayor Matthew Moench took office as Mayor of Bridgewater in 2020 and will be up for reelection in November of 2023. Since taking office, Mayor Moench has worked to slow overdevelopment, invest in residential infrastructure while maintaining Bridgewater’s status of holding the lowest municipal tax rate in Somerset County.
