He’s planning an announcement for mayor soon – as early as early May, sources say.

Veteran North Jersey Democratic operative Ryan Yacco appears to be nailed down to do GOTV. Campaign manager. It’s not a new role for Yacco, who did DeFusco’s council GOTV and VBMs.

Tony Soares and Cheryl Fallick had been speculated as potential council candidates, but nothing is set yet and sources have indicated that they won’t be the candidates.

DeFusco will be trying to unseat Mayor Dawn Zimmer.
