Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters Endorses Benson

Today, the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters has endorsed Dan Benson for Mercer County Executive.

“Being pro-labor is not just about supporting fair wages and good benefits, but being an innovative mind on both issues of economic development and infrastructure,” William Sproule, EAS Carpenters Executive Secretary-Treasurer said. “Dan Benson is a proven leader in the Assembly and will lead with that same track record at the County.”

“Dan Benson is not a leader just looking to get a job done, but wants to make sure the job is done right.” Anthony Abrantes, EAS Carpenters Assistant Executive Secretary-Treasurer. “He will make sure Mercer County projects are completed on time with skilled labor, following industry standard safety protocols and being paid a fair wage.”

“We believe Mercer County has an opportunity to be a leader in economic development and recognize that partners like the Carpenters are pivotal in getting us there,” Assemblyman Dan Benson said. “Carpenters have a long history of being a forward-looking organization in the construction industry.”
