Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters Endorses Democrat Speziale for Passaic Sheriff
Democratic candidate for Passaic County Sheriff Jerry Speziale said he is proud to announce the endorsement of the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters. One of New Jersey’s most respected and powerful labor organizations, the Carpenters join several other labor unions in endorsing Speziale for Sheriff. With mail-in ballots scheduled to begin arriving within weeks, the Speziale campaign is continuing to build significant momentum.
“Jerry Speziale has proven throughout his career in public service that he is a friend and an ally that organized labor and the working men and women that we represent can always count on,” said Anthony Abrantes, Assistant Executive Secretary–Treasurer, Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters. “We’re excited to support Jerry Speziale and look forward to working with him to ensure that the interests of working families in Passaic County are always represented.”
In addition to the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters, Speziale has also been endorsed by the Passaic County Building and Construction Trades Council, the Passaic County Central Labor Council and several other local labor unions.
“I’ve always been a pro-union elected official and I always will be, so I’m incredibly proud to have earned the support of the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters,” said Speziale. “Passaic County political leaders have turned their backs on union labor far too many times in recent years, and when our team is elected those days will be over.”
