Englewood: the Crossroads of Johnson v. Huttle
ENGLEWOOD – Valerie Huttle likes the feeling she’s getting.
“All good vibes, all good vibes today,” Huttle said after voting this afternoon at a local elementary school.
It is a low turnout, she said, but that won’t change anything.
“We’re still working to 8 o’clock to turn out every vote,” she said.
A few minutes earlier, Gordon Johnson joined one of his running mates as she
voted in Englewood Cliffs.
Johnson was hesitant to predict anything, but he was more confident about the values of the Democratic Party.
Whatever happens, “the mission continues,” he said.
Johnson and Huttle are seeking to replace Loretta Weinberg in the state Senate from District 37 in Bergen County. Both are now in the Assembly.
