WEST ORANGE – Essex County Democratic Committee Chairman Leroy Jones mobilized the troops this morning at an organization breakfast.

The message behind U.S. Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) was straightforward: “Stop Trump, Vote Menendez.”

Menendez, U.S. Senator Cory Booker and Governor Phil Murphy all dropped in after having left the Passaic County Democratic Committee breakfast this morning.

Featured speakers included the three statewide brands, Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, and Essex County Executive Joe DiVincenzo.

Speaker Craig Coughlin (D-19) of Middlesex County attended.

“Trump is helping us over here tremendously,” Jones told InsiderNJ. “The more he does his thing in middle America, the more he helps us in Newark.

“Just keep going, keep going,” the chairman said to Trump.
