Excited Crowds Descend on Philadelphia in Support of Kamala Harris

PHILADELPHIA – The backers of Vice President Kamala Harris tonight demonstrated considerable people power on the streets of the City of Brotherly Love, high energy from her surging candidacy on display throughout long lines along the Parkway on the same road Rocky Balboa ran to mount the stone stairs of the Philadelphia Art Museum.

These people waited excitedly to see and hear Harris later this evening on the eve of Election Day, 2024.

A man walked by grinning. On his t-shirt was the grinning face of the late Senator John McCain, a Vietnam War hero derided and demeaned by Donald Trump. Other men selling Harris for President t-shirts combed the crowd.  A bicycle with an American Flag and a flag with a picture of Harris zigzagged through the lines of people wrapped around Logan Square in front of the Franklin Institute.

The streets.

The people kept coming, showing confidence in battleground Pennsylvania’s largest city, the heavily Democratic Philadelphia. Harris needs huge numbers here to offset Republican rival Trump’s rural advantages as the pair vie for the commonwealth’s 19 electoral votes.

Unable to cope with losing the 2020 election to Joe Biden, Trump turned a mob on the United States Capitol on Jan. 6th, 2021 in hopes of preventing his own vice-president, Mike Pence, from certifying the results of a legitimate presidential election. Today, at a campaign rally in Pittsburgh, Trump continued to make unfounded accusations that Democrats would rig the 2024 election. “They’ll try, and they are trying,” Trump said onstage. “You know that.”

On Thursday night in Arizona, he told a crowd, “The only thing that can stop us is the cheating. It’s the only thing that can stop us.”

But the energy for Harris in Philadelphia looked substantial in this battleground as the massive crowd descended on the downtown area in advance of the vice president’s last rally here. “Has he tweeted about the crowd size yet,” a woman deadpanned in the swarm of people. “Has he tweeted to his supporters that this is a mirage?”

Lines wrap around Logan Square Monday evening.

  1. Lol. “Crowds” ..?..I live here and I’ve seen crowds and that aint one. People literally are carrying there groceries home. / You fraud

  2. Why does Harris have to invite celebrities to sing at her rally’s? Why because she is hiding behind celebrities and their crowds they bring to pass out the poison kool aid! People are smarter than you think! Once they have listened to the music they could care less about Harris and leave.

  3. You’re pathetic. Get your face out of FOX and find out what’s really happening in the world. Y’all have turned into a Jim Jones cult. Please stop drinking that Koolaid.

  4. Trump just said this at his rally. ” I know we are going to win. She held a few rallies today and only about 100 people showed up. This was right after her rally in Philly where there was a huge crowd. Not to mention all the other huge crowds around the country today for her rallies. He is such a liar and all the Magadonions believe every idiotic thing he says. Sad.

  5. lol Janalas had huge crowds!!! 75,000 at Eloise. Trump had 53,000 J6. Wanna see videos of Trumps crowds past few weeks? Loads of empty sections and people leaving! Trumps done

  6. Once again, MAGA cult members are following their leader and spewing out lies about Democrats. I was watching the rally on a live stream and I can tell you how unbelievably large the part of the crowd I could see was, plus I think there were probably even more people off to the sides of where the cameras were focused who I couldn’t see. And I also didn’t see any noticeable number of people leaving after the music ended. There was a huge crowd cheering Oprah Winfrey and the young voters she brought to the stage, as well as a huge crowd for Doug Emhoff and the candidate herself, Kamala Harris. And that doesn’t even reflect the fact that there was more music after our Vice President and, fingers crossed, our president to be finished speaking when Lady Gaga came back and performed and spoke again to conclude the rally.

There was a ton of energy at the rally because of the music and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s a really great thing! I’m 65 years old and have been an activist Democrat since the early 1980s, and I can tell all y’all that this was one of the best political rallies I’ve ever attended despite the fact that I could only be there virtually. 💙 🇺🇸

  7. Kamala’s crowds have been huge and so much excitement! I have many videos of Trumps. Especially the last month. He claims every seat filled 1000’s outside that can’t get in lolol I have videos of whole sections completely empty and people leaving! Kamala had 75,000 at Elipse… Trump had 53,00 on J6. He just had on in Albuquerque and they wouldn’t let him even go into the city because he owes half $1 million. He had to have it on the tarmac! There are MANY cities he owes money! He’s losing… watch

  8. I was in line for nearly 4 hours. Lines stretched a mile in every direction. Took a half hour break to walk the dog and get dinner. There had to have been 50,000 people there. Unreal..
