North Plainfield Police Chief Bill Parenti Officially Defeats Tom Pino in Somerset County Sheriff GOP Primary

After all provisional and votes by mail were tallied, North Plainfield Police Chief Bill Parenti defeated former K-9 officer Tim Pino by 238 votes in the GOP Primary for Somerset County Sheriff, according to Somerset County Clerk Steve Peter.

The final tally after provisionals and VBMs was 7,120 votes for Parenti and 6,882 for Pino.

Parenti’s allies anticipate a recount challenge by the Pino forces.
