Former AC Mayor Guardian Nominates Hirsh Singh in CD2
ATLANTIC CITY – Citing diversity and the importance of retaining the CD2 seat that retiring U.S. Rep. Frank LoBiondo will leave behind, former Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian rose at this morning’s GOP convention and put the name of Linwood engineer Hirsh Singh in nomination.
Guardian noted that Singh has already won three county lines (in Ocean Burlington and Camden), and expressed the argument that Singh should have the support of the organization in his home county.
Someone else backed up the mayor with the required second.
Retired FBI special agent Robert “Turk” Turkavage received support too here to compete, as did former Assemblyman Sam Fiocchi, Somers Point Councilman James Toto, attorney John Zarych, Brian Fitzherbert, and attorney Seth Grosman.
