Former Mayor Priore has Died

PARSIPPANY – Former Mayor Frank B. Priore, who in his day was one of the more colorful elected officials in Morris County, has died.

Prioire, who was in his mid-seventies, passed away this evening.

As mayor of Morris County’s largest town for a bit more than 10 years beginning in 1982, Priore coined the slogan, “Pride in Parsippany,” which is still used today.
