Former VP Joe Biden to Campaign Again with Murphy

After U.S. Senator Cory Booker slammed former Vice President Joe Biden over a comment he made about working in the senate with segregationists, Biden refused to say he was sorry and hit back with a demand that Booker apologize. Booker says, no way.

Joe Biden will return to New Jersey next month to campaign for Democrat Phil Murphy as the contest nears Nov. 7th.

The event is scheduled for Oct. 12th. Party sources say the Carpenters and Middlesex County Democrats have a large hand in finessing the details.

It will mark the second time this year that Biden has come to New Jersey to campaign with the Democratic nominee for governor in an election cycle in which just two governorships are at stake: New Jersey and Virginia.

Having made the decision to sit out the 2016 election and endorse Hillary Clinton, Biden continues to circulate as a possible 2020 presidential prospect.
