FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE OF NJ ENDORSES DOMINICK PUZIO FOR HUNTERDON COUNTY SHERIFF
Dominick Puzio today formally received the endorsement of the Fraternal Order of
Police of New Jersey (“FOP”) in support of his candidacy for sheriff of Hunterdon County.
The FOP is the world’s largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers, with over 345,000
members in more than 2,200 local lodges.
In the release, The FOP noted that it “is committed to improving the working conditions of law enforcement officers and the safety of those they serve through education, legislation, information, community involvement, and employee representation. No one knows the dangers and the difficulties faced by today’s police officers better then another officer, and no one knows police officers better than the FOP.”
Puzio is a Detective currently serving as an investigator for the State of New Jersey. He has been in law enforcement for over 18 years and has served in many roles from Corrections to an Instructor for various agencies at the State Police Academy in Sea Girt. Prior to becoming an investigator, his career started as an officer serving all of our local communities throughout the state including instructing at the state police academy for multiple state agencies.
“As Vice President of Local 174, I am proud to receive the endorsement of the FOP. The FOP is
a long-standing law enforcement organization respected throughout the state, and it is an honor
to work alongside men and women who value programs that help our communities. Serving the
public is my highest honor and I look forward to continuing to work hard to keep our Hunterdon
communities safe. Thank you to my brothers and sisters in law enforcement for their confidence
and support,” he said.
