Once rumored to be in the hunt for a U.S. Senate seat if U.S. Senator Bob Menendez did not survive his corruption trial, Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop tonight issued a full endorsement of the hung jury trial salvaged senator.

"Senator Menendez has been a great advocate for New Jersey nd a great partner in getting resources for Jersey City," said Fulop. "We intend to work hard for his reelection in 2018."
